Super-Lens by Using Negative Refraction :

Collaboration with Sylvain Lecler , Strasbourg

Recently methods have been found to obtain structures with negative effective refraction index in the visible range, for example by using thin silver slab. These meta-materials naturally allow to focus propagative waves but they also permit to image evanescent waves and so to image details smaller than an half wavelength. We plan to model and to carry out such a super-lens.
