The Rigorous Coupled Wave Theory is a mathematical tool able to predict and analyse the behavior of diffractive component and also resonant structures. The Rigorous Coupled Wave Algorithm (RCWA) consists in a numerical resolution of the Maxwell's equations. During his thesis, Cédric Lenaerts developed a new version of this program allowing the processing of multilayer structures for which each constitutive layer may present a periodic modulation of its permittivity. This new program allows also to obtain the visualization of the electromagnetic field distribution inside the studied structures. The adjustment to the conical incidence is in progress.
